As part of a true Dolby Pro logic II System, the C70 comes equipped with a dedicated Dynaudio Center channel loudspeaker, which provides a captivating surround sound experience during surround mode playback. This Center speaker has another unique feature to distinguish the new C70 from its predecessor: "A sound system at the Premium Sound level is indicated by the Dynaudio logo on the dashboard," says Patrik Widerstrand. "It is a sign that the car is equipped with the very best speakers."
Sensing whether the car's roof is open or closed, the system will automatically adapt its settings to the changing air volume. For greater sound enjoyment, the Premium Sound System can optionally be expanded with two subwoofers, located behind the rear seats, and additional amplification - enabling yet more impressive deep-bass response, even with the roof down.
