Like in the Executive S80 Saloon the control panel of the audio system is discreetly integrated into the absolutely slim middle console for which Volvo is well known for. Twelve first class Dynaudio High-End loudspeaker drivers are perfectly integrated into the interior and are powered by 650 watts from a digital amplifier. As a true Dolby® Pro Logic® II-Surround System, the middle console houses a centre speaker (mid-driver and tweeter), while the speakers positioned in the back of the car widen the room impression in surround-mode. Each front door houses three specific drive units - bass, mid-driver and tweeter, each rear door a tweeter and a bass-/mid driver. To not just hear, but also feel the deepest bass, an additional 260-watt-subwoofer can be specified optionally. Further options: An integrated 6-way-CD-changer, or an iPod®/USB-interface.
