Similar to the cross-over models XC70 and XC90 a customized Dynaudio Premium Sound System is available in the new XC60. In cooperation with the loudspeaker specialists at Dynaudio, all 12 loudspeakers are ideally positioned and adjusted to the interiors’ characteristics. Four woofers provide the bass foundation and are supplemented by three midrange drivers, while the higher frequencies are handled by four specially coated soft dome tweeters. The matching digital amplifier with 650 watts delivers an impressive musical performance. The speciality of every Dynaudio Premium Sound Systems is its multichannel ability: A clever positioning of each loudspeaker, the use of a dedicated centre channel and a Dolby ProLogicTM decoder provides a true surround experience.
