With the launch of AIR 12 life has gotten harder on high-end studio pros, broadcast engineers and OB van operators, leaving these discerning audio professionals with even more setup choices in top end nearfield monitoring for stereo, 5.1 and up. This new, powerful nearfield speaker made its debut at IBC 2007 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, thereby adding further to an already extensive range of networked studio monitors. AIR 12 includes the Air Soft Monitor Control featuring solo, mute and calibrated levels. Different types of AIRs may be attached to the network, enabling, for instance, smaller and diffused surrounds in combination with larger front speakers.
