Following the DM 2/7 model receiving a “buy” recommendation from German HiFi and High End magazine AUDIO just a few weeks ago, German magazine STEREO reviewed the smallest and largest DM models, the DM 2/6 and DM 2/10 respectively, in its March issue.
The results were clear: The DM 2/6 earns the best result 'Outstanding' for an 80% score in sound level, while the DM 2/10 scored 82% and earning an 'Excellent' rating.
For reviewer Tom Frantzen, the compact 2/6 is "a small, highly audiophile monitor with the typical Dynaudio virtues, who offers very high sound quality for a low price."
The large DM 2/10 impressed the STEREO editorial staff with its "high-caliber voice-coil" – as it provides yet more listening fun and for the reviewers it is an easy recommendation for home theatre systems: “the 10er DM targets also home cinema lovers, who want a set of compact speakers which already shows authority in the lower frequencies without a subwoofer. Keyword: 35 Hz lower cut-off-frequency."
