Contour S 5.4
The powerful neodymium magnets, the precisely formed aluminum voice coils, and the rigid MSP cone membranes require an extremely stable foundation to deliver maximum dynamics and an ideal impulse response. The front of the Contour cabinet has thus been reinforced through a solid metal baffle that is fused to the wooden enclosure by a resonance-absorbing damping panel. This high-strength sandwich construction serves as an ideal platform in which the advanced Dynaudio drivers can reach their optimum performance capabilities. To allow the components to operate in a stable thermal environment, the crossover of the S 5.4 is mounted onto a heat-dissipating aluminum plate integrated into the cabinet's back side. The Contour S 5.4 utilizes two powerful woofers, and a dynamic midrange unit driver to deliver a perfect balance of power and finesse; of strength and speed, enabling a most impressive performance in any stereo or home theater system. It also features the high resolution Esotar2 tweeter, with its coated fabric dome, which allows every high frequency detail to unfold, uncovering even the most hidden sonic structures naturally and perfectly.
