Two 1st places and a Lifetime Achievement
At the annual Goldenes Ohr Award Show in Germany, Dynaudio was a force to be reckoned with taking home two 1st places, four 2nd places, and three 3rd places. Wilfried Ehrenholz, who is one of the founding fathers of Dynaudio, was celebrated for his contribution to the world of hi-fi and given the rare Lifetime Achievement Award.
In the category, Wireless Floor Stand Speakers, the Focus 600 XD received 45% of the votes and took home the gold.
The compact Xeo 2 speaker system also wanted a piece of the cake and took home 1st place in the category Wireless Compact Speakers.
Dynaudio has a tradition of doing well at the annual Goldenes Ohr and last year the Focus 200 XD won the category for Wireless Stereo Speakers, and the Excite X14A won the category Active Desktop Speakers.
More than 30.000 people vote for the Goldenes Ohr award each year. The categories are made up of products that the German hi-fi magazines AUDIO and STEREOPLAY have reviewed in the past year.
